The Englewood Lions IFCS Food Bank service project in November was a huge success. In attendance were lions Gail, Charlie, Tamra, Mike, and Tim. The weather was pretty decent -upper 30’s. We had a blast throwing 2000 onions into 500 boxes as they rapidly came down the conveyer belt towards our awaiting hands. All in all we were finished in record time of 90 minutes. I was grateful we didn’t have something perishable like pears!
