Recycle for Sight
We participate in Lions International Recycle for Sight program by collecting used eyeglasses. The eyeglasses are then processed by the Colorado Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (COLERC) and provided free to people in need around the world.

**PLEASE NOTE: we only take people from Arapahoe county and those who live in the city of Englewood proper; not Aurora or any other city.

The Englewood Lion's Club would like to give a huge shout out to the six volunteers from Rooted 303 which came out August 29, 2024 to assist us with our monthly service project cleaning and sorting eyeglasses. Their commitment to service was over and beyond our wildest dreams. They jumped right in and worked 2 hours. We got a lot done. Every month, we collect used eyeglasses, sort, and clean them, and prescriptions are read. They are then made available to missionaries and others going to other countries where eyesight care is lacking.
