On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the Englewood Lions Club held it’s Fifth Annual Shred a Thon and Electronics recycling event from 9am- Noon at 300 West Hampden Avenue. This service assists Englewood residents in preventing being a victim Of Identity Theft by safely Disposing Of sensitive documents and disposing and recycling all types of electronics from cell phones to TVs. Lion Charlie says, “Every year we’re getting better and better. This year, I think we raised $2000. This will help us immensely in providing donations to our various organizations in our community.”
Present were lions Charlie Cockrel, Dan Percefull, David Newman, Gary Condreay, Gary Uba, Jim Kenney, Mike Flaherty, and Stacy Kenney. Also, a big shout out to Patty from the Englewood Rotary Club who came to help us unload boxes from cars, you definitely “Rocked it!” We’d like to thank the people and organizations mentioned above for their assistance!!!!!! We couldn’t have pulled this off without you!
